I love the outdoors, being born in the Anamalais has its own charm,long winding tea estates, interspersed with forests,shared spaces with jackals, elephants, leopard and small mammals,snakes even and umpteen number of birds,that led to my first steps in knowing the wilderness, thanks to a benevolent Grandpa who had green fingers and a great story teller! and it stuck!!! Not even urban Mumbai could take it away or dim it! Been a conservation professional and found my calling for the wild... Love writing for the environment and working with children about the outdoors.
